A lot of time is spent with family and dinners are very important in many countries, especially in countries closer to the Mediterranean such as France, Italy and Greece. In these countries it is also more common to have a siesta – a break in work and everyday life – that occurs shortly after lunch. In the northern parts of Europe this is not common. Instead you can find larger and more fast-paced cities. This part of Europe is also considered the richer part with many industrial and financial centers.
Considering Europe is small in geographical size, all countries basically have similar weather during the seasons. This makes it easy to know when the best time to visit is, depending on the trip you want. In general it’s winter and early spring for skiing, spring and fall for city destinations and summer for beach vacations.
